Summer Sockeye and Chinook Fishery UPDATE
Vancouver SOCKEYE / PINK Salmon Fishing Report August 24, 2011 Update Our fishing continues to be very strong with LOTS of SOCKEYE and now big influxes of PINK salmon to keep you on your toes. The North Arm to T10 has been hot in the morning and the afternoon with a lull mid day for the past week. Limits are now 4 per person per day for Sockeye and 4 per person per day for PINK. The West Vancouver shoreline has the been a good producer and is a great place to try. We have had Chinook up to 32 pounds back to our dock with some days getting a shot at 2 or 3 in the 15 to 25 pound range. It's nice to have many options as this season has been a challenge for most of us. Now is the time to go fishing as there are fish everywhere so give us a call and fill the freezer !
